Eat and Eat Gandaria

This might be interesting for those who wants to experience international cuisine. They offer Indian, Singaporean, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Malaysian as well as Indonesian regional specialties. More photos coming soon!

We had the same delicacy in my country. Inside is sweet sticky rice, we call it patupat. In Indonesia it's called ketupat.

Kiddy

I'm still wondering if there's a park here in Jakarta where kids can play and run around. Jakarta is very hot and humid. Not to mention the quality of air is not so good. And is it safe? I'm done with it. Since most shopping malls offer indoor playground I decided to live with it. Just today after lunch the girls decided they want to do some activities like sand painting and window decorative art. This might be interesting for future globe trotters with children if you will be posted in Jakarta.

You can find Kiddy in most shopping malls.

Sand Art

Look at these cute little chair and easel.

Waiting for artistic customer

They offer lots of different activities like shirt painting and plaster painting.

I personally love canvas painting

Tashkent Zoo

I visited Tashkent Zoo after I arrived in Uzbekistan. My whole family enjoyed the day trip. We finished before it gets really hot. We tried some rides too. Take a peek!

I had so much fun! The rides were kind of old and rusty but still doing it's job.

Fantasy Lollipops

I'm not a big fan of lollipop but yes for chocolate :-). The girls asked me for a treat. Today they behaved really well while we were out so why not with a "big smile".

Very attractive. Kids will sure notice this Big Sign.

This is how I organize my spoon, knives and fork at home.  Why not to organize lollipop?

How colorful!!!

Heart shape lollipop anyone?

Pinwheel, yey!

ESMOD Jakarta Fashion Festival 2012

After having lunch at Fook Yew, the girls and I walked around and Jakarta Fashion Festival 2012 is on going. I remembered I was very into fashion from our previous posting. I was always looking forward for Art Week style.UZ. Today it's only open for critiques. I hope by tomorrow I'll be able to take a good look of each designers show case. Have a glimpse of some of my favorites!

Fancy,the colors are sooo bright!

How bout' this shoes?

Wow I'm not sure if I'll be able to walk with this one.

Look at the sleeves, might be hard to iron unless I send this for dry cleaning.

Looks like a vest and scarf combined together, very chic!

More accessories!!!

Why not? Man can be fashionable too.

Can I say "aerial view" from where I'm taking the shot? I'm loving my husband's new toy. I don't need talent to click his camera, weeee!

Like sunshade, maybe after the festival it can be recycled.

Cute!

Oh my Madagascar, me and the girls love the movie specially the last part.
Fashion is also about hair.

Hahaha my husband would be screaming out loud if he sees me with this hair.

Look at Sisca's creation

When to wear this?

I love this one.. both!

Men in Yellow xoxoxo.

Xiao Long Bao by FOOK YEW

I planned to bring the girls for lunch but "K" said she has stomach ache. It was unfortunate since we haven't been going anywhere. I decided to bring only "Y" . There was a new resto called "FOOK YEW". I'm not really convince that it's the best name you can give to your business but I decided to give it a try. First I have to know what fook yew means. I asked the supervisor of the resto to please enlighten me. She was very helpful. The explanation is in Bahasa. "Sesuatu hal yang sangat menyenangkan". As I understood she said it means like people are always happy happy. I usually like trying varieties of food but since I only have "Y" we decided to try one dish each. Food was tasty. Actually today we are going back with "K". She was very jealous that "Y" keeps talking about the colorful Xiao Long Bao we had.

Table with FOOK YEW trademark,cool!
"Y's" favorite, salt and pepper shaker.
The lights, looks like bunch of cages to me :-)

I took photo of the logo but I'm obsess about their concept of using tiles as table. Hahaha I feel like eating on my kitchen's table top. Never mind :-)

Hmmm how should I label this photos?

Kind of cute...

Their signature Lychee Ice Tea.

And "Y's" favorite Colorful Xiao Long Bao

Their interior is a mix of modern and classic, very nice atmosphere. You don't have to worry about bringing the kids.

Hhahahah ok now you're stuck in my mind.

Oh I love this one, Sheng Jian Bao. They have varieties but I decided to have chicken mixed with shrimp filling. The juice squirted the time I bite it hahaha. Luckily we were the only costumer since the mall just opened.
Fried Noodle in Egg Sauce, yummy and very filling. Three person can easily share this. Since I'm not so familiar with their portion I ate it all!
